Ocho días

Nunca he sabido por qué ocho días es una medida de tiempo convencional en este país. No es una semana exacta, pero si es un tiempo determinado en donde se establecen los plazos para hacer algunas cosas. Creo que son pocos los lugares en el mundo en donde se inventan sus propias unidades de medida de tiempo.



No son siete días porque tal vez ese tiempo no nos alcance para vivir en la rigidez de una semana. Pero han pasado justamente ocho días desde que se me ocurrió abrir el blog. ¿Qué ha pasado?

Me despedí, me pidieron quedarme, viví la tensión de la incertidumbre, decidí quedarme por tres meses y tengo negociados muchos tiempos para continuar con mi vida. Ocho días no han cambiado mi vida por completo, pero sigo teniendo lectores en este blog.

Sigo usando este espacio para escribir y he recibido una linda respuesta de las cosas que escribo. En los siguientes ocho días tengo que cumplir con mis compromisos de mi tesis, y buscar una propuesta formal de trabajo. Ocho días que volveré a vivir hasta la próxima semana en donde estaré escribiendo entre semana y descansando los lunes.

Ocho días que me acercan al empleo de mi vida.
